Building Democratic Power Since 2016
Sister District is a grassroots organization that has grown to 70,000+ volunteers nationwide that aims to build enduring Democratic power in state legislatures across the country to improve people’s lives. Sister District has endorsed candidates in 202 races across 18 states, 148 of whom have won, and we have raised $7.3 million in small-dollar donations directly for our candidates and reached out to more than 6.5 million voters through phones, texts, postcards, and door knocks.
Sister District CA Peninsula is Active, Fun and Highly Effective
Sister District CA Peninsula supports top-priority Democratic State Legislative candidates each election cycle by fundraising, phone banking, postcarding, and canvassing. In 2024, we raised $243K, held 19 fundraisers including 15 parties, sent 19,800 postcards, and made >14K phone calls to voters
We are the most significant fundraising chapter in the country, having raised over $1 million since 2017 for Sister District. We are famous for our fundraising parties, remarkable phone bankers, huge postcard writing team, and friendly, enthusiastic community.
